Processing FAQ Sheet
How much meat can I expect back?
Typically it is about 50% of hanging weight. The cleaner the animal is and the better shot placement yields the most returned meat.
Do I need to bring coolers to pick up my meat?
Depends on how far away you live. Your meat will always be frozen and boxed at the time of pick up.
How long does it take to get my meat processed?
1 to 3 weeks depending on volume. We request that you pick up your meat within 5 days of notification that your meat is completed to avoid storage fees.
Can you do rush orders?
Yes, for an additional fee of $150, we can have your processing done within 24-48 hours. Fee may increase with less time allowed to process.
How do you package the meat?
We use high grade butcher paper rated for 12 months freezer time. However, for an additional .30 per lb (hanging weight), we can wrap with butcher paper and double wrap film; or additional .50 we can vaccuum seal (Cryovac)
When are your hours?
During Wild Game Season (Aug 15-Jan 1) we are open 7 days a week 8AM-5PM. Last drop off 4:30PM, no exceptions.
How long do you age Wild Game?
We usually hang Wild Game for at least a week before processing.
